The Hawks begin their second road to Wembley on Tuesday!

Following Saturday's postponed game away to Great Wakering Rovers, the Hawks will make the trip to Southend on Tuesday (13th September) evening.

The Isthmian League North side have made a steady start to the season, finding themselves 13th after four games. The season began with a defeat at home to Lowestoft Town, with the Rovers shipping three without reply before they drew on the road to Wroxham and faced their second defeat against newly promoted New Salamis. They picked up their first win of the season, beating Hullbridge Sports at home. The Hawks, on the other hand, are still winless. A 3-3 draw on the opening day at home to Aylesbury United was followed by a draw on the road to Biggleswade FC before the Hawks faced defeat at home to newly promoted Walthamstow.

Last season, our hosts progressed through to the Third Qualifying Round of the competition, progressing past Stowmarket Town on penalties before beating Chichester City in the Second Qualifying Round but seeing their run come to an end away to Walton Casuals. For the Hawks, a win over Pheonix Sports at home saw them reaching the Second Qualifying Round, but a defeat to Bedfont Sports brought it to an end in the next round.

The game will be played at Great Wakering's ground, Burroughs Park:
