As women's football has progressed since the Football Associations ban ended in 1971, so has the opportunities that have come the way for all girls to be able to play football and this is the latest project that allows that to happen.

Not all girls have had the opportunity to progress through women's football and instead had to settle for playing boys' football until they were old enough for senior football, but there is always room for change. This opportunity will allow young girls to play alongside players their own age, whilst they look ahead at the dream of eventually being promoted to the first team.

Players who are members of the Under 12's, Under 14's and Under 16's will be playing in the Junior Premier League whilst our Under 18's will feature in the Essex County Girls Football League and the Reserves will be in the Essex County Women's Football League.
